We didn't start with a grand plan. We started with an oven, a handful of good recipes, and the belief that a neighborhood bakery should feel like a neighborhood bakery — not a franchise, not a trend, just a place that shows up and does the work.
Wilmington has given us plenty of reasons to keep going. The regulars who walk in at the same time every Tuesday. The families who come back year after year. The sense that this is ours — and that we're building something that belongs to the community just as much as it belongs to us.
That's why we open early. That's why we taste every batch. That's why we stay open seven days a week — because the people who need us don't keep business hours, and neither do we.
